What a journey it has been!
When I discovered this glorious website back in the early 2000s, I waited until I was thirteen years old to make an account as I was told by Grandmeister Tom. Since then it has been my go to place for criticism, inspiration and being amazed by the wonderful works uploaded on here.
In 2006 (10 years and 2 weeks ago) I started out as a kid who just sketched away a bit and now I'm studying animation, doing what I love and I owe a lot of it to these grounds here. Even when my projects looked like shit, people tried to help me improve and supported me. I've had some bad years where I had some troubles and barely created anything, and it was wonderful when I actually got messages from people asking if I was okay/where I went. Also love all the criticism I get on my work from awesome people such as JamesHetfeld, VicariousE, Doomroar, RealFaction and many more! I've tried DeviantArt and other art platforms but I never got that kind of support anywhere else.
Well, enough emotional talk, I made a little piece to commemorate this moment, you can check it out here! Also here's a little sneak peek:
Here's to 10 years and many more to come!

I recognized all your characters from the '10' piece, it's a wonderful way to celebrate your achievements since you joined up here... I would've put this into the review, but I've never been good about impartial reviewing when it comes to favorite artists, of which, you are certainly one of them!
Thanks for making this place what it is today... and making an old man like me happy to be here, who the blazes is that, and what poison is he drinking?

Good to hear! Thanks a lot, it was fun bringing all the characters back.
That man is Officer Jim Lahey (played by John Dunsworth) from the show Trailer Park Boys, and I have no clue what he is drinking there to be honest! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXaRfF4qwn4
